Read on the Wild Side! June 10 - July 16. At the 2009 Daugherty Public Library District Summer Reading Program Sign up begins June 1 (ages 3 to 15) The Safari begins June 10 with our Kick-Off/Cook-Off at the Sugarloaf Township Park at 10am Events Planned June 11 (Thursday) – Reading and Craft fun at the library 2:00-3:00 June 17 (Wednesday) – Meet Safari Steve and his wild animals at 10am June 18 (Thursday) – Reading and Craft fun 2:00-3:00 June 24 (Wednesday) – Eliza Dawn shows us a wild good time as she sings & dances 10am June 25 (Thursday) – Reading and Craft fun 2:00-3:00 July 1 (Wednesday) – Pet Parade (dress yourself/pet as a “wild thing”. Parade to Tropical Snow July 2 (Thursday) – Reading and craft fun 2:00-3:00 July 8 (Wednesday) – The St. Louis Zoo comes to the library and shares animals/stories 10am July 9 – Reading and Craft fun 2:00-3:00 July 15 (Wednesday) – Swords & Roses the Swashbuckling Sisters entertain us at 10am July 16 (Thursday) – Last Day of Summer Reading Program with prizes and refreshments 2:00-3:00 Join the fun and have a great time this summer
